We make sure that all teachers and employees are of the highest quality to provide the best experience for students.

We use a variety of methods and resources. Our program is based on CEFR International language standards – Blended English Learning System. We focus on 21-century learning skills (commutative, collaborative, creative, and critical thinking) with a help of speaking, writing, science, craft, geography, music, and culture. At I English U academy, we have coined Gobal Innovative Creative (GIC) as our method of learning English. We are constantly researching cutting-edge methods to inspire and explore language learning.

We use interactive online methods from various sources that engage students by “gamifying” their learning. Our favourites are resources from Education.com for young learners’ coursework, Teach My Monster To Read for phonics/reading, Kahoot for classroom quizzes and review, and many more.

We have an attendance policy that can be seen here.

We use the Cambridge English Assessment to evaluate a student’s level based on the CEFR (Common European Frame of Reference) six levels to best place them in the appropriate curriculum. Click here to see photos of the academy.

We have an air-conditioned building with 5 total classrooms in a building conveniently next to the Sangwangsimni subway station. And of course, safety first. 48 cameras are installed to always monitor and keep people in the building as secure as possible. Our school has an amazing collection of library books open to our students at any time, yet with the changing times, we do not stop there. We have a computer lab for various online activities, 2 projectors, and TV screens installed in other classrooms. Click here to see pictures.

We recommend our students to take the test after 1-1,5 years they are with us. There is no pass or fail  in the exams. Your marks for each paper are added together to calculate your result for the whole examination. We have made enhancements to the way we report the results of our exams because we believe it is important to recognise your achievement.

A candidate’s overall score is calculated by adding all of the individual scores together and dividing by four (and then rounding to the nearest whole number). A candidate’s grade and CEFR level are based on their performance across the whole test, and there is no requirement to achieve a minimum score in each paper.
